Where’s the Standard Version of the PSP Media Manager?

PlayStation Portable

I was browsing through the Sony Creative Software website, and I noticed on the PlayStation Portable (PSP) Media Manager Pro page that a free standard version of the software was available via PlayStation Network. To make a long story short, I never found the standard version of the software (you’d think they’d want to make something like this easily and readily available). After a few Google searches, I found out that you could get the Japanese version of the PSP Media Manager working in English on your PC. Finally, this was my ticket to obtaining a copy of the free version of the software.

To make things easier for you folks, simply click here to download the Japanese software onto your Windows based PC. To install, all you need to do is run the software installation, click on the highlighted button on the bottom of each window (this is actually the next button – Also, please note that all of the information written in each of these windows will be seen as garbage characters and will be unreadable, that is unless you have Japanese character support on your machine) until you get to choose among two bullet point options, select the first option (which is you agreeing to the user license) and then continue clicking on the highlighted button until you complete the installation. Finally, connect your PSP to your PC via USB cable and you’re ready to go!

I’ll update the post if I eventually find the official link to the North American version of the program.
