Summer of Arcade 2009 comes to a close this week with the release of Chair’s “Shadow Complex” for the Xbox 360. The 2D/3D side scrolling Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) will set you back 1,200 MS Points.
The game serves as an homage to classic games such as “Super Metroid” and “Castlevania: Symphony of the Night”. Players will take part in a rescue mission and uncover power-ups that will assist you on your journey.
A review of the game will be posted on the site shortly.
According to the above pic, which is actually the default splash page on gearsofwar.com, it would seem like “Gears of War 2” will be released on Nov. 9 for the Xbox 360. The previous info was decrypted by deciphering the ASCII code written on one of the dog tags in the image (033-116-117-126-071 equals to ESC-N-O-V-9). Nothing has been confirmed yet, but since this is from the official Gears of War page, it would be safe to assume that it will be released on Nov. 9.
The wait is over as “Unreal Tournament 3” finally arrives on the Xbox 360. The Mature rated title is now available at retail ($59.99) and features split screen gameplay, five exclusive maps and two all-new characters, as well as all previously released downloadable content from the PS3 and PC versions.
“Searing-hot first-person shooter action comes to Xbox 360 this summer with Unreal Tournament 3,” said Mark Rein, vice president of Epic Games. “With a bevy of new and exclusive content, Xbox 360 owners can now get their frag on by choosing to play online with friends over Xbox LIVE or against our amazing AI ‘bots.’“
Unreal Tournament 3 also ships with exclusive video footage of “Gears of War 2“, which is scheduled to launch this fall on the Xbox 360. Click here to view the official press release.
